TWO HONORED WITH PROCLAMATIONS AT CITY COUNCIL MEETING

The Crossville City Council gave honors to two people at last night’s meeting.

The first was Sadie Saylor, nominated for Student of the Month. Her proclamation reads:

“Sadie is such a responsible young lady. She always comes to class
prepared, participates in class, and is always eager to learn new things.
Sadie makes good choices, she is trustworthy, and she is very respectful
to others. We really enjoy having her in class.”

The next honored was Sara Vandever, Administrative Associate at Crossville Police Department, who was nominated by two fellow employees within her department. Her proclamation reads:

“Sarah’s knowledge of the workings of municipal government, state laws, and court proceedings has been a major benefit to the police department. The effort she puts in to making sure things are done correctly is second to none, and the employees from this department benefit greatly from it. She’s definitely an important piece to the success of this department. In today’s era and the work force, it’s hard to find someone like Ms. Vandever. She is a hidden gem, and I’m so glad she is put in a position to problem solve like she does. She’s a great deal of stress off the patrol, as well as makes case files, emailing us,, whenever we have grand jury cases, it always works well at the DA’s Office.”
