TWO INJURED AFTER DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE LEADS TO CAR-STRIKING FLIGHT IN HARRIMAN
A Sunday afternoon domestic disturbance in Harriman led to two people being struck by a fleeing vehicle before the driver was apprehended on Martin Hollow Road.
The Harriman Police Department initially responded to the incident at a residence on Sewanee Street. Preliminary reports indicate that an individual fled the property in a vehicle, striking two people in the process. The severity of the victims’ injuries remains unknown at this time.
Following the getaway, deputies with the Roane County Sheriff’s Office intercepted the suspect on Martin Hollow Road. The individual was taken into custody and booked into the Roane County Jail.
Law enforcement has not yet released the suspect’s identity or the formal charges pending against them. Authorities expect to share further details as the investigation progresses.
