The Tennessee Highway Patrol and medics recently responded to a vehicle crash on the 8400 block of Highway 68.

The report released today states a 1998 Ford Taurus driven by 18-year-old Jesse Lee Lawrence was traveling north when he failed to negotiate a curve.

The vehicle left the road, traveled over an embankment, struck a tree, and overturned.

The Ford came to rest on the passenger side.

Troopers noted injuries to Lawrence and a 17-year-old passenger.
