TWO INJURED IN ROANE COUNTY VEHICLE ACCIDENT

Two people from Morgan County sustained injuries following a vehicle crash in Roane County Friday night. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 1998 GMC pickup driven by 55-year-old Mark Foster of Wartburg and a 1995 Harley Davidson operated by 24-year-old Austin Hensley of Lancing was traveling north on Highway 27 when both vehicles attempted to take the junction to Highway 61. Troopers say Foster attempted to shift back onto Highway 27 and collided with Hensley. Foster was not injured in the accident. Hensley and a passenger on the motorcycle, 23-year-old Bethany Hensley, were both treated for injuries sustained. Troopers say Foster was charged with improper passing and DUI as a result of the accident.
