Cumberland County deputies, firefighters and medics responded to a single vehicle accident just before 1 p.m. this afternoon at the intersection of Bud Tanner Road and Amanda Lane. Initial reports indicate two individuals in the vehicle sustained injuries. An air medical helicopter landed near the scene to transport one of the injured to an area hospital for treatment. A full report, including the names of those involved, will be released at a later time.
