A two-vehicle accident on Highway 70 North in Crossville yesterday afternoon resulted in injuries. Troopers say a 2004 Dodge Neon driven by 20-year-old Cary Waters of Crossville was attempting to get on the highway from the flea market when he reportedly failed to yield and was hit by an oncoming 2002 Chevy Silverado operated by 28-year-old Anthony Sherrill of Monterey. Waters and a passenger in his car, 20-year-old Mandy Burks of Crossville, were taken to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Sherrill was not hurt in the accident.
