When the Kingston City Council convenes at 6 p.m. for its regular meeting this evening, they’ll be discussing two new business items.

First, they’ll vote to allocate up to $18,995 for the city manager to purchase a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 for the police department.

Then they’ll vote on approval of a resolution to annex a parcel of land on the written consent of the owners and incorporate that land within the boundaries of the City of Kingston.

The public is invited to attend and speak during the public-comments portion of the meeting.
