Two road paving projects in Crossville is creating traffic backups in the daytime hours. One is on Highway 70 West from east of Pomona Road to West Avenue. The second is on Highway 127 South from just south of Miller Bypass to Homestead. TDOT officials told 1057 News today that motorists can and should expect daily delays. The estimated completion date for both is mid next month (September 2019). Another road construction project on Highway 70 East between Godsey Road and Renegade Mountain Road is down to one lane while crews work to stabilize the slope. That is set to be finished in November.
