Five schools in our area received recognition as Reward Schools for outstanding performance or improvement.

A Reward School has an overall score of 3.1 or higher per federal accountability calculation. According to the state, these schools demonstrate a high level of performance across numerous indicators that judge student success.

Crab Orchard Elementary and South Cumberland Elementary in Cumberland County received the honor.

Allons Elementary, Hilham Elementary, and Livingston Middle School in Overton County were named.
