TWO SEPARATE DISTURBANCES LANDS BLANKENSHIP AND MAY IN JAIL

A reported physical altercation between brothers in Cumberland County landed one in jail and the other injured after being hit on the side of the face with an ash shovel. Authorities responded to a home on Cottage Street where Jack Landon Blankenship was arrested for aggravated assault. The victim refused medical treatment. Deputies also responded to a home on Monticello Lane where 18-year-old Devin Blake May supposedly threw a machete at a man during a verbal encounter. May was also charged with aggravated assault.
