TWRA WARNS HUNTERS TO BE CAUTIOUS DURING DRY PERIOD
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is cautioning all hunters that current dry conditions can lead to fires with muzzle-loading season opening across the state. Brushfires have been the focus of attention lately, including several that have been located in wildlife management areas. Hunters are advised to not build campfires or to observe them very closely. Adjacent areas should be clear of debris such as dry branches or twigs and they are cautioned about where they should place hot guns after they have been fired.
