U.S. AND CONFEDERATE FLAGS ON DISPLAY TO MARK MEMORIAL DAY IN CROSSVILLE

Drivers along South Main Street in Crossville will notice a display of U.S. and Confederate flags on the lawn in front of the veterans’ monument. The flags were put up by members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans – one to commemorate each soldier killed in battle – to mark both United States and Confederate Memorial Day observances. The flags will remain up through June 4.
