UNEMPLOYMENT INCREASES IN ALL 95 TENNESSEE COUNTIES IN DECEMBER
Unemployment increased in Tennessee from November to December. The state number increase slightly from 4.8 percent in Nov. to 4.9 percent in Dec. In Cumberland County the unemployment rate went from 5.8 percent to 7.0 percent while Roane County saw an increase from 5.3 to 5.7 percent. Williamson County has the lowest unemployment in the state at 3.5 percent while Lake County has the highest numbers at 10.2 percent.
