UPDATE ON 1-YEAR-OLD CUMBERLAND COUNTY CHILD AT CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

John and Lacie Neal of Crossville issued an update this morning on their son, Samuel.

“We did not receive good news today like we hoped. He has damage to both sides of his brain and we are going to be here for a while as they unfold it all with time. He will likely have some type of problems and have to do therapy how extensive we don’t know. Do consider us in your prayers. We just got to keep faith.”

Samuel fell into a pond Saturday behind his home on Potato Farm Road. He was unresponsive and had a faint heartbeat when Lifestar arrived to fly him to Knoxville.
