VANDALS CONTINUE TO HIT CENTENNIAL PARK IN CROSSVILLE

Vandals struck Centennial Park in Crossville recently. Although the incident was reported on Wednesday, the actual vandalism took place on Sept. 2 as recorded by surveillance footage. A camera placed in the far, rear, right side of the horseshoe pavilion had been removed from the scene by the male suspect, whose picture was captured by a different camera. That footage shows the young male wearing a red hoodie, walk into the building and use a stick to knock the camera out of view. The suspect then is seen walking to the far back right side of the building, where he is seen climbing the wall beams, and removing the camera by breaking its’ brackets. Loss and damage was estimated at about $425 and the investigation is ongoing. Previous vandalisms were reported as occurring in the restroom area of the park.
