VANDALS STRIKE CROSSVILLE CAR DEALERSHIP

A Crossville car dealership was the scene of a vandalism last week. Police say that the manager of Select Auto on Main St. reported that two male subjects entered the business from the rear of the Car Spa. Video surveillance revealed the two enter vehicles and then exit them after a short time. Ignitions on a 1995 Mercury Cougar and a 1978 Chevy Camaro were both punched out in an attempt to steal the vehicles. However, the batteries to both vehicles were dead. Damage was estimated at $1200. Neither man has been identified.
