Vandals struck a vehicle parked at a Crossville business Friday. The 2002 black Ford Escape was parked overnight at Extreme Tax on West Avenue. When the owner returned the next day, he found that someone damaged the grille, battery terminal and line, transmission cable and had dented the rear hatch and driver’s side door. Total amount of damage was $1,258. The vandals also spread nails and screws throughout the parking lot. The investigation is ongoing.
