A two-vehicle accident in Cumberland County yesterday afternoon sent one person to Cumberland Medical Center. The report states a vehicle driven by 61-year-old Diana H. Conway of Lenox, Georgia, slid into an oncoming 2001 Honda Civic operated by 31-year-old Eric Oakes of Crossville on a curve on Chestnut Hill Road at Gate Road. A passenger in Oakes’ car, 34-year-old Christine Gibson of Crossville, was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
