VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON DOGWOOD VALLEY ROAD LEAVES THREE INJURED
A single vehicle accident in Roane County Friday night left 3 injured. According to the report released this afternoon, a 1995 Chevy pickup operated by a 17-year-old unnamed driver lost control in a curve on Dogwood Valley Road while he was trying to get a cell phone out of his pocket. The truck went into a spin, struck a guard rail and went airborne off the road. The truck then hit a tree and came to rest down an embankment. The driver and two passengers, 18-year-old Eric Crass of Kingston and a 15-year-old, were hurt in the accident. The driver was charged with four traffic violations.
