Crossville police and medics responded yesterday to an accident on North Main Street and Elmore Road. Officers say 80-year-old Terry Smith of Clarkrange was stopped at the red light when he was rear ended by an automobile operated by 45-year-old Adam Fusco of Crossville. A passenger in one of the vehicles, Deena Smith, was treated for suspected injuries.

First responders also went to a vehicle crash at the intersection of North Main Street and Interstate Drive Wednesday. The report indicates 66-year-old Gerald Buck of Crossville was stopped for traffic when he was rear ended by an automobile operated by 58-year-old Yvonne Johnson of Pikeville. Suspected injuries were noted to Johnson and a passenger with Buck.
