A vehicle reported stolen out of state was recovered in Crossville Wednesday. Officers went to Highland Square Shopping Center for a disorderly subject. They encountered 32-year-old Shad Alan Hammond who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. A check of an automobile Hammonds was supposedly in possession of came back taken from Muncie, Indiana. He was arrested for vehicle theft.
