A driver escaped injury Friday afternoon in a vehicle crash on I-40 in Cumberland County.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a 2017 Nissan Altima driven by 51-year-old Al Clint Colley of Tennessee was traveling west at the 325-mile marker when the vehicle started to hydroplane on the wet road.

The Nissan left the road and struck an embankment.

The accident report states Colley was restrained at the time of impact.
