The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office released the identity of the victims who were killed yesterday in Greenback.

The victims were identified today as 78-year-old James Ramsey and 75-year-old Betty Ramsey.

Authorities say both were stabbed to death.

The suspect, 53-year-old Julian Goodrum, was friends with James and Betty’s son. Law enforcement said Goodrum also lived at their house off and on for the last several years.

Goodrum is in custody at Loudon County Detention Center. He’s charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
