In case of a power outage, here are some tips to keep you and your loved ones safe:

·       Safety first: If you use a generator, make sure it’s placed outdoors in a well-ventilated area to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.

·       Stock up: Have essentials like flashlights, batteries, and cell phones handy.

·       Unplug: To prevent damage from power surges when the power comes back on, unplug sensitive electronics.

·       Reach out: If you experience an outage, report it to VEC through the SmartHub app or by calling your local office.
