Late last night, Roane County deputies responded to the 500^th block of Swan Pond Road in Harriman for a report of a suspicious automobile in a driveway. Officers arrived to find the vehicle running, driver front door open, a kitchen knife laying on the ground by the open door, and multiple empty pint liquor bottles inside. Central dispatch advised deputies that the vehicle matched a lookout posted out of Cumberland County earlier yesterday. Authorities say the driver, 59-year-old Jeffrey Allen Brock, had been involved in a felony domestic case in Cumberland County. Officers advised citizens in the immediate area to secure their doors as they looked for Brock. Deputies found him minutes later who surrendered without incident. Brock was charged with public intoxication and a hold placed on him by Cumberland County authorities.
