WARRANTS SIGNED ON NORTH CAROLINA WOMAN FOR CROSSVILLE BUC-EE’S THEFT
On Friday last week, Crossville police units responded to Buc-ee’s regarding a theft report. Officer Shade Foster arrived on the scene and made contact with a store representative who said that a blonde woman had stolen approximately $900 worth of merchandise.
According to the representative, the woman entered the store just after 1:30 p.m. and began walking through the store and selecting around 54 items from multiple locations. And then at around 2:34 p.m., she exited the store and got into a white pickup truck, and left.
In the video footage, the officer was able to confirm the statements made by the representative.
In the footage, the woman got into a white 2017 Chevrolet Silverado bearing North Carolina tags which were returned to a man out of Robbinsville. North Carolina. Officer Foster contacted the Graham County Sheriff’s Office in an attempt to make contact with the man who owned the truck.
The deputy described the truck owner’s current girlfriend as the blonde woman in the video and identified her as Heather June Nelms.
After confirming her identity, Officer Foster went to the Cumberland County Justice Center and signed warrants on Ms. Nelms for theft of merchandise.
So far, the officer has been unable to make contact with her.
The total value of stolen items is around $889.78.
