WARRENT ISSUED ON CROSSVILLE WOMAN FOR ALMOST $1,000 ATTEMPTED THEFT

On August 15, 2025, Crossville city police responded to a theft report at Lowe’s, where an Asset Protection Agent observed a female suspect, later identified as Kristin Walker (29), engaging in shoplifting.
Around 1:30 PM, the agent saw her select a DeWalt backpack, angle grinder, keyed drill, variable speed hammer drill, and a Craftsman combo drill and driver kit, placing them in a shopping cart. She proceeded to the lawn and garden center, passing all points of sale without attempting to pay.
An employee witnessed a red Kia with a temporary Tennessee license plate moving to different exits as the suspect walked by, suggesting coordination. When the agent confronted her at the lumber door exit, she abandoned the cart and fled in the Kia. The license plate traced back to Kristin Walker, whose identity was confirmed via social media and dispatch records.
A warrant for theft of property was issued but remains unserved. Video evidence was submitted to the Crossville City Police Department.
