Crossville police recently responded to a stolen vehicle incident at a gas station on Peavine Road near I-40. The suspect, 27-year-old Nekia M. Watson of Crossville, reportedly drove off and was later pulled over around the 290 mile marker on the interstate. The victim told authorities he was delivering newspapers to the business when he saw Watson in his automobile prior to her leaving. She was charged with theft of property and the car was returned to the owner.
