In Cumberland County:

A tractor-trailer rig accident on westbound I-40 has the left lane blocked in the vicinity of mile marker 316. Emergency vehicles are on the scene at this time. TDOT says that the left lane will open up later this afternoon. But until then, motorists can expect delays in this area and are advised to take an alternate route such as Highway 70 North.
