WILMOTH ARRESTED AFTER HIGH SPEED PURSUIT ON PEAVINE ROAD
A high speed pursuit this morning that started on Peavine Road ended with the arrest of the driver. A Fairfield Glade police officer clocked a red Lexus operated by 21-year-old Ethan Wilmoth going at 55 miles per hour in a 30 zone. A chase started and Wilmoth reportedly ran the stop sign at the intersection of Stonehenge and Peavine. Several county and state officers then joined the pursuit. Wilmoth later stopped in the roadway on Peavine Road at Antioch Road and fled on foot. He later surrendered. Wilmoth allegedly told authorities he ran because of a probation violation warrant out of Putnam County. He was charged with evading arrest.
