WIND ADVISORY ISSUED FOR CUMBERLAND, PICKETT, AND FENTRESS COUNTIES WEDNESDAY
The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Wind Advisory for all of Middle Tennessee, including Cumberland, Pickett, and Fentress Counties, in effect from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM CDT on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
South winds of 15 to 25 mph, with gusts reaching up to 45 mph, are expected throughout the day. Forecasters warn that these gusty conditions could blow around unsecured objects, down tree limbs, and cause scattered power outages.
Motorists, particularly those driving high-profile vehicles, should use extra caution as strong winds can make driving difficult. Residents are advised to secure outdoor objects, remain alert for downed tree limbs, and be prepared for possible power disruptions.
