The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for the following counties:

SCOTT, ROANE, MORGAN and all counties east of these to the Smoky Mountains.

The advisory goes into effect at 4 p.m. eastern tomorrow (Christmas Eve) and is scheduled to expire at 4 a.m. eastern Christmas morning.

For Pickett, Putnam, Overton, Fentress and Cumberland County, the advisory starts at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning (Thursday, December 24, 2020) and expires at 11:59 tomorrow night.

A WIND ADVISORY is in effect until 12:01 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2020 for the plateau for gusts up to 40 mph.
