A single-vehicle accident on I-40 in Cumberland County yesterday resulted in one injury. Troopers say a Ford F-250 driven by 27-year-old Rachel A. Miller of Charlotte, North Carolina was traveling east at the 308 mile marker when the vehicle ran off the left shoulder, over corrected and rolled over once. A passenger in the truck, 33-year-old Rebecca Pierce, also of Charlotte, was flown by Lifestar from the scene to U.T. Medical Center. Miller and two children who were restrained in child seats were not injured.
