WOMAN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY BEING UNDER INFLUENCE IN COURT
Allegedly showing up in a courtroom under the influence got a Crossville woman a few more yards into the building to jail. According to the arrest report, a deputy recently observing the courtroom allegedly noticed 26-year-old Heather Marie Hassler of Crossville unsteady on her feet. When the officer approached her and asked if she was alright, the report states that Hassler told the deputy that “she inhaled a line of dope before court.” She was charged with public intoxication, walked back to intake in the Cumberland County jail and initially placed on a $10,000 bond.
