A Fairfield Glade woman is facing charges including auto theft in Crossville. Police responded to Walmart to a report of a stolen vehicle possibly being in the parking lot. Officers arrived as the driver in the 2001 Honda Accord was leaving. Police followed the car to Dollar Tree where the driver got out and allegedly gave officers a false name. Officers learned her real identity was 29-year-old Tiffani Taylor who reportedly told police she bought the car from a friend. Police reportedly observed several items in the vehicle with store tags on them after being notified from Walmart that Taylor was on camera allegedly taking items. She was additionally charged with criminal impersonation and shoplifting.
