WOMAN FLEES CROSSVILLE POLICE AFTER AGGRESSIVE DOGS BITE OFFICER

On June 13, 2025, at around 1:28 PM, Ptl. Roberts responded to a call at Kate’s Korner regarding five uncontained canines from a nearby wooded area. Upon arrival, he encountered Elizabeth Lallo, who was verbally aggressive and physically interfered by grabbing a catch pole to free a detained dog.

During the intervention, one dog bit an assisting officer’s left tricep, allowing Lallo to flee with the dogs into the woods, obstructing police duties. Backup was called due to the risk of further bites. Other individuals in the area began surrendering the dogs.

Lallo briefly evaded arrest but was apprehended upon returning to the campsite and charged with obstruction at the Cumberland County Justice Center.

All five dogs were taken to the Cumberland County Humane Society, with the aggressive dog quarantined for 10 days.
