WOMAN FOUND WITH SYRINGES, DRUGS AND COUNTERFEIT BILLS

A Crossville woman was charged earlier this week with, among other things, possession of drugs and criminal simulation. Police stopped a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Brittany Diane Gunter who had an outstanding warrant. In a consent search of the vehicle officers discovered an uncapped syringe on the front passenger seat and another syringe was found in a black case along with an unopened suboxone strip. Also found in the vehicle was an oxycodone pill and cut aluminum can that allegedly was used to prepare narcotics for injection. Officers also found a series of six $100 bills in different transitions of the counterfeiting process. The ink was either not aligned with the paper or printed on only one side with color changes. One fake bill was presented that was completed and could have been passed as currency. Gunter was taken into custody with all narcotics and counterfeit bills confiscated.
