An investigation by agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has led to the indictment of a woman accused of falsely reporting a sexual-assault incident in Fentress County. At the request of 8th District Attorney General Jared Effler, TBI agents began investigating allegations of sexual assault involving a Jamestown man. Twenty-four-year-old Sarah Elizabeth Suddarth of Macon County reported the male subject sexually assaulted her while she was at his home. The investigation revealed the incident did not occur. The Fentress County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Suddarth with one count of filing a false report. This morning, Suddarth turned herself in and was booked into the Fentress County Jail.
