WOMAN PULLED OVER, FOUND WITH MARIJUANA AND METH
On Wednesday, an officer observed a red Chevy Blazer driven by Louella R. Walker traveling inbound on Lantana Road without functional tag lights and crossing the center lane multiple times. After stopping the vehicle at Midway and Lantana Road, the officer made
contact with the driver and noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver said there was no marijuana in the vehicle, but revealed a glass pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine. The officer searched the vehicle and found 6.26
grams of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana in 3 different bags, 1 marijuana cigarette, and .82 grams of a crystal-like substance believed to be Methamphetamine. The evidence was photographed and logged in and sent to the TBI lab for testing. Charges are
currently pending awaiting lab results.
