Crossville police responded to Executive Inn Friday for a report of a female burning clothes outside of a hotel room. Officers identified a female in her 40’s from Sparta as the suspect in the incident. The report says the woman started the fire with the pile of clothes in front of the room door causing damage to the door and carpet. She was later seen leaving the area. The incident is under investigation and charges are pending.
