One person suffered multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds late last night (Friday, September 29, 2017) in Oak Ridge. Officers responded to the scene on Walsh Lane where a female had been shot and a male suspect fled in a vehicle. Police detained that suspect a short time later. The suspect was taken to Oak Ridge Police Department for questioning. The victim was flown by LifeStar to UT Medical Center in Knoxville. Her condition is unknown at this time. More information will be released at a later time by authorities.
