YARBROUGH CHARGED WITH DUI FOLLOWING CRASH NEAR HOMESTEAD TOWER IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle accident near the Homestead Tower in Cumberland County just before sunrise Saturday. The report states a Chevy Trailblazer driven by 50-year-old Thomas Yarbrough II of Crossville was traveling west on Highway 68 and attempted to make a left turn onto Highway 127 South. He instead went into the grass, struck a utility pole and ran up an embankment. Yarbrough was charged with reckless driving and DUI. Troopers say he was injured in the crash.
