A 13-year-old Knoxville boy who is accused of shooting his younger sibling to death appeared in Juvenile Court Tuesday for a detention hearing. The teen, who remains unidentified because of his age, is set to appear back in court on January 20. Police say that the boy shot and killed his 12-year-old brother with a handgun on Dec. 20 after arguing about doing chores at their Needham Lane home. The older brother is charged in a petition with being delinquent by first degree murder.
