(Developing Story) – Crews are working to put out a 15-acre wildfire in Crab Orchard close to the limestone plant.

According to fire officials, the blaze is controlled as of 4 p.m. central time today.

Officials remind the public it is still too dry to attempt to burn outdoors.

Check with your local fire department to see if burn permits are being issued.
