A Roane County man who according to court officials has a lengthy criminal record, was arrested Saturday night in Harriman. Police responded to a 911 call of a burglary in progress at the 800^th block of Trenton Street. The homeowner allegedly identified 22-year-old Trey Douglas Patterson, 25-year-old Scotty Tyler Bryant and 27-year-old Jeremiah Paul Bergquist at the scene. Officers observed several items on the steps where the three were standing including tools, knives and electronics. When the burglary call was dispatched, officers were at a North Roane Street home taking a burglary report of several tools that had been stolen. The items were recovered at the Trenton Street burglary scene. All three subjects were arrested and charged with possession of stolen property. All three were transported to the Roane County jail. Court officials in Roane County say Patterson has appeared several times in the past two years for driving on a suspended license, violation of probation and failure to appear. Patterson pled guilty to attempted evading arrest in Davidson County in 2014 and was charged with criminal trespassing there as well. Patterson has also been arrested in having outstanding warrants in Anderson and Sevier County. Roane County court officials say Bryant has been arrested numerous times in the past as well for aggravated burglary, evading arrest, simple possession of drugs, assault, public intoxication and multiple charges of theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and fraudulent use of a credit card. Court officials added that Bergquist has been charged in the past with five counts of driving on a suspended license and multiple counts of simple possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
