3 PEOPLE BUSTED FOR DRUGS NEAR CROSSVILLE CAR WASH
Crossville Police arrested three people during an investigation that took place earlier this week. A suspicious vehicle with Illinois tags was observed parked in a stall of the Kat’s Car Wash on West Ave around 1:30 AM. The vehicle, which was dry, was occupied by three people and was stopped after it had pulled onto the street. Two of the occupants, 41-year-old Curtis Jacob Renfro of Loudon and 38-year-old Sherry Gail Wiley of Rossville, GA, gave false names. A personal search of Renfro revealed $24 in quarters and five $1 bills fixed with tape and string, an act commonly known as “fishing” in change machines. After a K-9 Officer hit on the possible presence of drugs in the vehicle, $40 in change was also found along with marijuana, syringes and prescription pills. The driver, 34-year-old Alexander Kyle Cirilo of Illinois, was also charged with driving on a revoked license.
