Red Bank Police Chief Tim Christol has been fired from his position. City manager John Wright says that Christol was released from the job Wednesday morning because of a “personal issue.” Wright would not relate what the “personal matter” was and he would offer no further comment on the matter. Christol has been police chief at Red Bank since 2010.
