On May 20, 2025, Deputy Joshua Matthews responded to a report of a stolen red zero-turn lawn mower valued at approximately $3,000 from a woman’s property on Tabor Loop in Crossville. The theft occurred between May 16 and May 20, 2025.

The mower, missing its hood, was chained to a pole. The owner noted that some workers who recently cleaned the lot inquired about the mower, but she told them it was not for sale. She lacked their contact details.

Neighbors suggested a local individual might be involved but provided no specific information.
