4 FACE DRUG CHARGES AFTER TRAFFIC STOP IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

Four men face drug charges in Cumberland County. Earlier this week, deputies stopped a 1997 Chevy Suburban on Taylor’s Chapel Rd. for a light violation. According to the report, the driver, 23-year-old Thomas Lane Cobb, was in a nervous state. He stated that he was on probation for theft and drug charges. A consent search of the vehicle turned up a clear, plastic case containing 93 small, clear plastic baggies, and three other baggies containing 2.7 grams of meth. The case also contained syringes and a pipe. Other passengers in the vehicle included 42-year-old Abe Thomas Collins, 22-year-old William Caleb Farmer, and 51-year-old John David Schwarz. All were charged with manufacture/delivery/sale of a controlled substance.
