$5,000 IN ITEMS STOLEN FROM STORAGE UNIT IN CROSSVILLE

Crossville police recently responded to a storage unit on 10th Street for a burglary.

The report states taken in the burglary included totes of antique dishes, Christmas ornaments, and laptops. The total value of the items was $5,000.

Officers learned of a possible suspect in the case. A female told police she loaned her vehicle to 40-year-old Joey Pugh, listed as homeless.

She informed officers Pugh returned her vehicle with the back of the car full of totes and various items.

Officers recovered many of the items taken.

A warrant was taken out for Pugh for burglary.
